MO LASHBROOK

Melissa "Mo" Lashbrook, an Arkansas-based artist, works in a variety of media, including cyanotype, fiber, and sculpture. Her work has been widely exhibited throughout the state. A recipient of the 2018 Artist INC fellowship from the Argenta Arts Foundation, she also won a purchase award in the 35th Small Works on Paper Juried Exhibition in 2022, resulting in a traveling exhibition of her work at nine venues across Arkansas.

Raised between the Mississippi Delta and Plummerville Bottoms, Lashbrook's Arkansas roots run deep. She holds a BA in Fine Art and an MA in Teaching from the University of Central Arkansas. Following careers in both the military and public education, she now dedicates herself full-time to her art and hobby farm.

Lashbrook's work is part of the Arkansas Arts Council's permanent collection and is held in numerous private collections throughout the state. She is also represented by South Main Creative in Little Rock.
