
JEFF YOUNG
Jeff Young is an artist and educator whose primary medium is drawing. He holds a B.F.A. in Art Education from Texas Tech University, and both an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Art Education from the University of North Texas, where his studio work focused on drawing. Beyond his contributions to faculty exhibitions at the University of Central Arkansas, Young's art has been juried into 47 exhibitions across the United States, spanning Texas, Arkansas, Rhode Island, Indiana, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Missouri.
In addition to his studio practice, Young is a respected scholar in the field of art education. He has co-authored seven articles published in leading journals such as Art Education, Studies in Art Education, and Visual Arts Research, and has presented or co-presented at over fifty state, national, and international conferences on art education and education.
His work has been acquired by the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum and is also held in numerous private collections.
